Posten Norge extends PULS contract

Boston, Mass. – 16 April, 2010 Posten Norge has extended its maintenance and support contract with Escher for its counters retail system, Posten’s Unique Sales Solution (PULS), for a further three years.

Escher has also expanded its current service portfolio to assume the role of prime contractor for delivery and implementation of new counter application solutions and provision of 3rd line Helpdesk Support services. This expansion includes prime contractor responsibility for acceptance, integration and delivery of Posten Norge’s third party software providers with Riposte®, including companies such as Ergo Group, Ticketmaster and DnB Nor.

Posten Norge operates 300 main post offices and 1200 Post-in-Shop branches together with 30 business centres. Some 2300 point-of-sale positions are supported by the Riposte®-based PULS system.
