Namibia Post Limited
In April 1999, Namibia Post Limited selected Escher Group's Riposte® technology to automate locations throughout the country. Namibia's postal system is comprised of a geographically dispersed network of post offices at various levels of technical sophistication. Approximately 66% of these postal outlets have a limited telecommunications infrastructure. In this environment, Namibia Post required a flexible solution that would offer high performance, ease-of-use, reliability, and advanced distributed networking capabilities. Today, 117 counter positions have been automated in 34 post offices.
